In their songs there is always this attention paid to delicacy of touch inside a relationship narrated in the lyrics, and it is transmitted through the tone of Lott's voice and other featuring singers like in this one. But this one stands out between the others for me, because it talks about loving someone else giving them space. It seems counterintuitive, but that is a very precious and respectful thing to do towards a person and it should be normal nowadays.

Son Lux (or Ryan Lott specifically) is so good at making patterns and connections between everything he does. So many songs have callbacks to previous compositions without being too on the nose or distracting. It's doesn't feel forced - instead it is simply natural. He really exemplifies that everything is one and one is everything - that nothing doesn't happen without something else before it.
