Very similar to the bloodworm pattern I used to use in the UK. The worm part was made with two satin-looking threads (both are were secured to the shank rather than wrapping one around to make a body) like those flat laces you find on some running shoes, just appropriately sized for fly tying. Deadly. Will try this pattern for sure..

Tim: I've been looking for Small Round Rubber Legs (Waspi RRS 056) but can't find any on the Internet. Any suggestions where I can find some, or alternates? I'm looking forward to trying these on the San Juan this summer. Great videos

Hello, Tim. I was wanting to tie some of these for upcoming winter (even though it's July) and noticed that Dai Riki is out of business. Do you know The dimensions of the box? If so, it'd be appreciated.

I used roughly 2 1/2" for length when I tied these. It ended up being a hair long, which left room to trim the ends.

I make something very similar and almost identical in look with 1-3 mm leather cord, the bigger the cord, the less noticeable the hook is, but there's a limit. I get my cord from china, cheap necklace material.
