Great lure!! Will there be X rap Otus 17cm replacement tails on the market soon? They do come with a spare tail but also that one was bitten in parts pretty soon.

No rapala will not make any replacement tails for peto 14 or otus 17. They want you to buy a new lure everytime you need a new tail. 🤬🤬🤬

Hello ! Can anyone here or at rapala tell me if i can upgrade my otus hooks to larger ones ? I have the 25cm one and the hooks are too small for musky in my opinion , would appreciate any advice thanks

Hi, thanks for a good question - did try swapping hooks already? Otus comes equipped with VMC® Coastal Black™ Treble Hooks (two No. 3 on the XROU17 and Two No. 2/0 on the XROU25). The lure is designed, tested and guaranteed to swim well with these hooks. But you can try experimenting with different sizes and hook models - if the lure swims well and catches fish, the choice was right 👌

Yeah I have. I'm going to have to add weight in the front to try & make it look real . Pike are much easier to catch .

@@denispoirier5442 I've actually casted a silicone mold to make similarly but all rubber and choose my own colors and designs with plastisol. (that's what they make rubber baits from. I've also used just the otus myself and has been very successful with both species. It's hard to get here in the United States but I've found them online and still use them. Great bait,
