Kdrama television shows that I have watched have only ever been one series. Making a second series serves no purpose. The first series was wonderful, it’s one of my favourites why would you want a follow up? Sequels rarely equal the first, so best left as is. And anyway, although the ending wasn’t the happy ever after we might have wished for, the ending finished on a suitable note - Son O Gong gave Samjang one of his red eyes, we all know he’ll go to the ends of the earth to find her, why spoil it by creating a long drawn out saga ... this is one for our imagination and dreamtime. Me? I don’t want a second series, I would prefer to be left to dream.

Have watched this before and rewatching it again. The ending was sad with O-gong searching different worlds for his love. I don’t understand why people plead and beg “Oh please make a season 2, oh pretty please!” It’s not going to happen. As much as we might like to see our characters back again, sequels rarely are as good as the original. Here we have a perfectly good story let’s not ruin it by trying to do it all over again with a second series.
