There is a neglect of duty evident in this proceeding. Senator Miriam Santiago is clearly exercising her duty as the chair of the commission of appointments. She even stressed that the personalities in the public hearing represented the pillars of the government. There is a fault in reference in Farinas' motion as the proceeding is clearly a public hearing. A waste of time is a waste of money. To wait for persons who were elected to represent their constituencies and who were unable to come on time for the hearing is clearly a neglect of duty. What we see here, hence, is a protestation of a learned person who knows the law which precisely mandates her to exercise her duty. Her move is valid as it is a good counterclash against that horrid tardiness or inabsentia of those who have duped to believe for and in themselves that they are a special creature who can easily railroad the mandate of law according to personal interest and wishlist.

Indeed. The best president we never had. But "blessing" in disguise ang di nya pagka-panalo sa 2016 election, though she's great, kasi pumanaw sya several months after the presidential election. If nanalo sya dun tapos na-vacate ang position so si Leni sana naging president natin ngayon and nahulog na naman tayo sa dilawan. But nonetheless, she's the iron lady and has the capacity to lead but too sad she died.
