lama yolmo,tamang yolmo, sherpa yolmo so confusing

No need to get confused. Sherpa is a different ethnic tribe , Tamang is a different ethnic tribe, and hyolmo originally and actually means a holy land ....it's an geography...but of late people inhabitating the hyolmo region call themselves as hyolmo indicating an area from where they belong, and lama is thar which is common in these three communities.Hope ur concept got cleared.
