There the people of kargil voted for that, just before the election, Jammu and kashmir popular leader congress Umar Abdulla sir had brief conference with the media in kargil and told the public in kargil to vote either congress or NC candidate so we could demand the centre to merged Ladakh with Jammu and kashmir state. At last the council election was marginally win in favour of NC and Congress, except the the Buddhist majority areas. I'm from kargil and we don't want to merge with J&K once again that's totally insensible statement from sajad. It's seems he need to boycott from KDA and this man with different ideology will definitely effect on the unity between kargil and Leh.
