索朗旺姆 is my favorite. I love her voice. She has such a beautiful sound. Someday, I like to visit the Tibetan Plateau because of her.

Also has very much to do with the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K during gestation and childhood. Deficiencies in these vitamins creat the narrow skulls and jaws that can't accommodate their own wisdom teeth. Deficiencies also lead to skeletal and dental asymmetries and a myriad of other sub par health outcomes that are considered normal these days. Ironically this "heavenly road" aka the communist chinese railroad leading into Tibet has potentially led to the proliferation of crooked teeth in Tibet. But I'm not sure how much malnutrition existed pre occupation.

Sweet melody, nice singing, amazing how she sings without opening her mouth more than a few millimeters. Impressive culture........but what amazes me the most are her perfect teeth XD

同意！天路那两句已经完全没有那种天然的高原气息。而且形象也差很多，那个索朗旺姆是一个带点高原野性的藏族小姑娘，这个简直就是贵妇嘛，不知道造型师怎么想的。

This song was originally performed by Han Hong in Mandarin. It was written in the 2000s. It's not a traditional Tibetan folk song in any sense of the word, since it deals with the construction of railways on the Tibetan plateau, however it is true that the government is in the habit of promoting the bastardization of ethnic music into Putonghua, which is a real shame.

This is calculated and done with purpose to aid in the suppression, assimilation, and absorption of a cultural minority and/or a conquered peoples. This is not at all an isolated phenomena, as it is quite effective, as a whole, at undermining cultural uniqueness, so it can be found throughout world history. Explains away the cultural revolution, you destroy people’s unique identity and history, the easier it is to lay foundation as one sees fit. It is a sad reality of war, domination and supremacy.

Han Hong is actually a tibetan-ethnic singer, which her tibetan name is Yangchen Drolma You trolls need more training~

Han Hong is not the original singer of this song. Before her, Ba San had performed it in Tibet. Han Hong however did popularize it after she had bought the copyright of the song and recorded it.
