I think we need to spend 50% of the total time on testing. We need to write unit tests, integration tests, acceptance tests, load tests, UI tests and additionally we need exploratory manual testing. There are other types of tests (property testing, mutation testing, Architecture fitness function tests, ...) as well which might be essential if our system needs to be of highest possible quality.

regarding to technical debt: How does sonarqube analyze scalability? Is sonarqube even possible to do that? An simimlar queston regarding to code defects to design ineficiencies. How does sonarqube detect that the code you have written is not compatible with the design/structure of the application one is going with? Or could you maybe give an example so its easier to understand what you mean with this.

Can sonar be used for showing code coverage of node and angular app?

Everything is ok but whenever i used to change the source code as per sonar instruction . After that once again run the sonar goal to reflect the changes . it shows the updated code but issue is Code Coverage which shows 0.0 . Everything is ok i added the JaCoCo-maven-plugin for code coverage even though not able to get rid of this problem. Please wanna frequent suggestions if someone has faced this issue .

To show unit test report one has to set the "sonar.tests" property - so SonarQube did not import test classes and could not attach test results to them.
