Sonata 6.7 trailer sailer off NSW east coast

Short clips of our Sonata 6.7 sailing off the East Coast. Ghosting along in the light breezes but by using the apparent wind speed/ angle and trimming accordingly, (Total windspeed and direction generated by the boats speed through the water added onto true winds speed/ direction), gives more power to even easily exceed the hull speed regularly. Note how light the true winds speed is when we slowed to raise the drifter and the performance when Big Blue was unfurled and 'in the grove'. (Thats an example of sailing the 'apparent' wind generating the extra power, thus speed. The true wind speed is still the same. A 'kick' from a swell helps start the process).
Easy, enjoyable sailing and a hoot when you get it going.
Its easy to slow down/ depower a well designed boat, but impossible 'speed up' a slow design. Its why when pressed they just heal over, bog down, dig a hole and get cranky to handle, but sail no faster. Uncomfortable sailing.
The 6.7 is just a great design. A cruiser/ racer. With design features that suit both well.
We have not met an owner who doesn't sing the praises of the 6.7 Sonata.
