Through the mountains and the stones,
I shall call on you my Lord.
Through the birds that fly at dawn,
I shall call on you my Lord.
Through fish at the bottom of the sea,
Through gazelles in the deserts,
Through becoming a dervish uttering ‘Allah’,
I shall call on you my Lord.
Through İsa (Jesus) in the sky,
Through Musa (Moses) on Sinai,
Through the rod he holds by,
I shall call on you my Lord.
Through Eyyüp (Ayyup) and his deep grief,
Through Yâ’kûb (Jacob) shedding many tears,
Through Muhammed being loved so dear,
I shall call on you my Lord.
Having come to know this world,
I have left all its tales behind.
With my head uncovered and bare feet,
I shall call on you my Lord.
Though many languages,
Doves and nightingales,
Through truth seeking servants,
I shall call on you my Lord.
