Wow, I like this. Your pieces definitely have better structure than what I write!

If you are going for a classical sonatina, the 2nd movement has to be slow

@@gmfrunzik description. And no it doesn’t, for example the second movement to beethovens moonlight sonata.

@@classictasticthat’s a sonata quasi fantasia Any other Beethoven has a slow movement (either 2nd or 3rd)

@@NichtWunderkind just because some sonatas have 2nd movements which arent slow doesnt make it any less of a rule Im not saying you shouldnt write a fast second movement
@gmfrunzik13 күн бұрын
@@NichtWunderkind did I say it can’t? I said in a “classical sonatina” it has to be slow Any sonata or sonatina which doesn’t have a slow 2nd (or 3rd depending on the order of the movements) movement isn’t classical

I like how you made the second theme in the dominant, whereas you usually see the second theme in the relative major if the key is minor

I love how you resist using the romantic composer's diminished 7th. I find myself using it in everything I write as it can resolve to almost any key. Although I would respect you staying strictly classical and not being influenced by the romantic period.
