The thing is, that trick where you dont press A and D key at the same time, fhe first shot will not be accurate because your still moving if you dont counter the right movement you are doing (for example). And if you tell me you just need to wait the character stops then il awnser saying even tho you do that, you may loose precious time to kill your enemy or even get punished by that. So that trick may be nice for low elo but for higher ranks you defenitly need to learn how to use both keys (a and d) at the same time and still be good at movement. (This is my honest opinion, not here to make someone rage or mad)

and if you shoot immediately after hitting both a and d, you will still be innaccurate. The time it takes to gain accuracy during a counter strafe vs movement release is neglible in valorant. If you already have the muscle memory, there is no need to forcibly forget it, but a new player (who has not played cs) should not feel the need to counter strafe.

Bro the game has been out for 4 years. Counterstrafing doesn't exist just let go of the key and it works. Only problem might be if your keyboard is dog and doesn't realize that u don't press the key anymore

The lurk timings of this map are messing with me. I'm glad I'm getting time to learn it in Swifts. Mid is a bigger part of this map than I think many are thinking. Someone has to really maintain that mid control on defense to prevent flanks or splits. Mid feels a tad like Split mid control.

Don't be scared of the game haha it's not too bad. If you were a mechanically good CS player you will have to work pretty hard to unlearn all of those mechanics and adopt the more simple version that Valorant has. Valorant just has very easy mechanics so even very low elo players (like the silver player) can have some success and enjoy the game. It's not a mechanically difficult game like CS. As long as you don't overcomplicate the mechanics part of the game you'll be fine. The main thing to work on is map knowledge and agent knowledge. Valorant is more about knowledge/strategy than raw mechanical skill/aim.
