Facilities & Amenities:
Most of Soneva Jani’s guest facilities are located at the Gathering - an overwater, three-storey building that houses the majority of the Food and Beverage outlets, including So Fresh with a bar and musician platform, So Imaginative tasting room, So Engaging chef’s table, So Cool, and outdoor dining areas such as So Starstruck and Deckadence. All Soneva Jani chefs prepare mouth-watering, healthy and balanced dishes using only the freshest produce, much of which is grown in the resort’s own organic fruit and vegetable gardens, and served in memorable and exceptional settings. The Gathering is also home to the Shop, Yoga Pavilion, Spa, the Gym and the Den.
Additional facilities include the Crab Shack, Cinema Paradiso (an open air, over the water cinema) and the So Primitive (a fire pit dining experience on the beach).
Location:
Soneva Jani is found in the Medhufaru lagoon in the Noonu Atoll. It comprises five islands, the largest of which is the 150-acre Medhufaru. The resort can be reached by a scenic 40-minute seaplane flight direct from Malé International Airport, a 60-minute speedboat ride from Soneva Fushi, or by a leisurely half day cruise from Soneva Fushi onboard Soneva in Aqua.
Maafaru International Airport is now open in the Noonu Atoll, with facilities for private jets and commercial planes. From there, it’s just a 15-minute speedboat ride to the resort.
