How do you deal with phasing issues while doubling? Does hard panning guitars sound equally well in mono? I had tried doubling, it was sounding fine on headphones but when I mono'ed, lot of phase cancellation was happening. Give some tips please

Bhaiya... If we will play instrument double always... Why we can't copy that instrument two times in DAW & then pan them .. i know this is a stupid question but answer me I'm confused..

But, sonically there should be difference between the two sounds to get the width. Copy pasting the same performance will make it louder and nothing else .

Dont just copy and paste on another track, rather make a new track with similar performance and timing. More the tight performance better the stack result. While, you won't get any phase issues*(unless there are certain situation)

Stacking does require slight difference with pitch and timing which gives it the rich texture and width in stereo space
