I got to hear Gordon in concert many years ago, and he introduced this song as being "about all the romance of a Canadian winter, but written during a thunderstorm in a Cleveland hotel room." Back in 1999 I played this song for a girl. 25 years later she's still here. Apologies for the audio quality.
