Heh, my old state of contentment came from two places. One, I knew far less than now, so I had less reasons to embrace the feeling of bitterness. Two, quality was a selling point back in my youth (I'm 21 now, my "days of youth" would be 10-16 years old. Yeah, that short.), and it helped keep me content. The ignorant and arrogant can rot, for all I care. I will embrace the wisdom, intelligence, and general thirst for knowledge that I embody. That has kept me alive up to now, and those instincts continue to prolong a life I didn't wish to have in the first place (the instinct of self-preservation keeps me well out of the arms of suicide, so that's a non-functional option).

I became a brony just a couple months after it came out. I stumbled across a show that was really cute, and I thought, "sure, I'll record this." I thought Pinkie was Twilight's mom when she kept going "TWILIGHT!" and trying to keep her away from Zecora. I don't know when exactly I joined the fandom, but I remember listening to Pinkie's Lie on my iPod Touch and going, "Wow. I never want this to stop." I started a herd at my school. 2012 was the end of the world... the world of unconditional joy and love. The fandoms that helped people to join from 0 to 100% without any sign of negative/jokingly negative emotions in doing so, just fandoms filled with kind people and ran by kind folk. The music that you'd take to parties to remember to celebrate and party to being alive and being in this wonderful world. Now, post-2012, we see songs of greed, sex, etc come to the spotlight over songs to remind us we have a world to explore and joy to spread. I know very well that are dark and depressing songs that help with pain and loss and that happy songs aren't necessarily gone rn. It just has been a long while since I have heard anyone sing a happy/friendly song about being alive is party worthy that life is celebratable.

I'm coming back to this song 2014, and it's still amazing from when I heard it back in 2011. It's just so impressive how the fandom has thrived for as long as it has. Not only will this fandom live on in general, but will always be supported. Fanfictions are pumping out all over the internet constantly, art is growing and flourishing daily, and even after the music drought, we're still having great fan music releasing here and there. But oh, how I remember the good ol' days of 2011-2012. Music at its peak point. Hopefully our fandom's new batch of musicians will do us well! Thank you my fellow bronies for sticking around, even after all the chaos our fandom has gone through during the great span of MLP: FiM's history. #thanksmlpfandom #getreadyfor2015 #itsgonnabegood

When everything else is just a burning memory, I'd like to think that I'll remember this in the back of my head as a thought of what it was like when I was 12.

In the summer of 2013, I was caught by a friend watching the show with my little sister, and she asked me "So does this mean your a brony now?" Ever since, I've been a brony, keeping up with the show through all those awesome you-tubers out there doing there commentaries and such. I absolutely love this fandom all it has done for me. Its 2015 right now, the year of the fifth season and the second season with princess twilight. All these years, all these episodes, and none of us have thought..."Where's gilda?" Also, Soulwax Yes, their not going to leave the cmc's story-arch just hanging there for theories. Thank you And I love you guys.

Wow. Such a good summary of Tombstone's music and his accomplishments as the best artist I can think to represent the fandom and this represents how I feel about stuff these days. And I'm 13. I enjoyed 40s-90s music better than most crap these days. A few things actually are good including fan made stuff.
@PhoenixFires9 жыл бұрын
***** Not. Just saying we've lost a lot of good music. And since when did everyone in the world die and voted before death to make you second in command? You have no right to slap down an opinion with your weak acronyms.
@PhoenixFires9 жыл бұрын
***** So you're saying you do not appreciate any other of the past's songs? I have found many songs that are good. But definitely not the majority. It is but an opinion. You cannot judge my tastes and I will not judge yours. Agreed?

***** But do you not think some of those good old musics of the past have been lost?

Ben Actually Idon't listen to either. Mostly classic rock, rock, random shit, classy stuff. All that. Plus stuff from the 80s and 90s.

It's November 30th again, marking the 9 Year Anniversary of my most favorite Brony song. Feels like only yesterday when I first heard this beautiful masterpiece only because a friend of mine who was already into the fandom shared her collection of favorite songs that she had gathered. I was a bit reluctant at first, I mean, liking MLP? People actually do that? Well, that was back in 2011 when we were both in 9th grade, and I shortly joined the fandom afterwards and have loved every moment ever since. It's strange, the song gets even better as even more time passes by. The days are long, but the years are short. So much has happened in these past 9 years, but it feels like only yesterday that I was sitting in Art class with my friend as a Freshman in high school listening to this song with her, and now it's been a bit over a year since FiM has officially ended. It may be over, but I'm still here, WE are still here. The spirit and love for what many people perceive to be an insignificant cartoon for little kids carries on, regardless of how you were brought into The Herd. I still listen to this song, a lot, and I will always listen to it and reflect on my younger years when things were more simple and happy. A lot has happened, a lot has changed, and it's been a rough year for all of us, I can imagine, but it's been a true honor being apart of this fandom for the past 9 years with y'all, I can't think of anywhere else that I'd want to be. I love y'all, and remember, The Ride Never Ends. I'll be here again for the 10 Year Anniversary of this song /)
