I was young when Goong was released and I admit that I hated her character. I believed that the bubbly-commoner MC is very relatable and deserves happiness . But as I grew up, I realized that Min Hyorin is such an admirable woman. She can live a rich life as a princess but instead chose to pursue her career as a dancer. If the story is written with her as a main character in manhwa/web novel. CPrince will be an ass who betrayed his beloved and didn't fight/wait for her.

There is no "admirable woman" as greedy like her. I dislike this character because of rapacity and always want everything to follow the rules that she wants. She knows Shin is a crown prince, and his life is filled with responsibilities and rules, if she loves Shin, she shouldnot think his responsibilities and rules are stupid. She put her own dream above other 's responsibility, she was the one who made the choice, and after achieved the dream she wanted, she turned to blame Shin for "why not wait, why is his love so changeable"? Is that really fair? In Shin's position, he has burdens and responsibilities to take on shoulder, Shin needs someone who is loving and patient enough to carry with him, that's something she can't do. Min Hyorin is the type of person who just likes to take from others, but refuse to give it away. Shin proposed, she refused. She follows her dream, Shin gets married. She blamed Shin but Shin didn't blame her. She also constantly pretends that she understands Shin better than his wife in front of her, she tries to hurt his wife's feelings. And after she realizes Shin is falling in love with his wife, she commits suicide. What kind of such an admirable woman on the earth???

She is GREEDY because she wants to have both career and love WITHOUT understanding that her lover is tormented, awkward, she is greedy because she has put her own needs and desires first, over her lover's needs and desires. She doesn't understand that she considers her dream as her reason for living, same like Shin also considers responsibility to his family and country as his way of life. She can choose to give up love for her own career, so why can't Shin choose to give up love for the sake of family and country? She rejected Shin to pursue her dream, which is not wrong, but after getting what she wanted, she resented Shin because he didn't wait for her, which is completely wrong. Love is built on respect and equality. Shin understood and respected her dream, but she could not understand and respect Shin's responsibility, even considering the principles of the Royal Family as ridiculous and despicable.

I was shocked when I searched for princess hour ost and saw her pictures with other actors as the main protagonist. I was immersed in this drama for so long and her character still remain impactful as the jealous princess😆and I hated her because she was kinda cold and can’t let go of him. She has beautiful face and figures and she played the character so well. I think others also thought the same thing, unless you like this kinda character. Now I see her differently after getting to know her in running man lol. She is this adorable, funny and brave woman. I like her a lot.
