Everybody says they hate this character bc he is a bully but my god! I actually really like him. Not cause hes a bully but because he is human. He didnt mean to hurt chae rok u can see the surprise and guilt in his face (great acting) he is just lost and sooo angry and is misdirecting his anger at chae rok cause he cant do it towards his father. I can already see hus character development arc and we are hlf way through series. Im rlly excited for it

The only difference between Chaerok and Hobum is that when Chaerok was at his lowest there were people there to support him through it. Hobum didn’t have a mentor or Mr. Sim to tell him that he was worth something so this was the end result. Anyone who hates Hobum should hate Chaerok just as much because they are both deep down good people who have had a rough go at it.
