While intrinsically part of the proletariat/working class, the material and social conditions and relations of high-earning professionals are distinct enough from the regular working class that Marxian analysis gives them their own classification of "petite-bourgeoisie" (often translated to middle class). As they derive significant material and social benefits from the capitalist system and don't experience the worst of it's inherently oppressive, alienating, and stratifying aspects, their interests differ from that of the regular working class and like the bourgeoisie/capitalists tend to lie in _preserving_ the system which has benefited them (which is why the middle class leans conservative).
@DoctorScrimguard4 жыл бұрын
@@jackvac1918 I always thought that the petty bourgoeisie referred mainly to farmers and mom and pop businesses and the like, if you follow the reductive definition of literally owning the means of production, i.e. property. This would be the only class that could be totally erased in a pure centralized economy. You still need doctors and engineers around no matter how things are organized, and I think there's an argument to be made for more intensive labour being compensated proportionally. I'm even okay with a couple millionaires walking around, just not these billionaires who couldn't spend all their money if they tried.

We have to continue to meet the masses and uplift the most progressive elements of the working class. Without reaching them, talking to them, providing them with assistance and meeting their material needs, we aren't going to raise class consciousness enough to be victorious. Today, a big problem is sectarianism, dogmatism, chauvinism, reaction, and lack of direction and organization. We've got "communists" and "anarchists" who refuse to study history and refuse to study and learn from the many great theorists and revolutionaries we have to draw from, and simply play in the vampires' castle on social media; fighting clawing and scrapping, back stabbing and accumulating social capital among toxic teenagers who do absolutely no organizing in their areas, but seem to think that vaush's twitch streaming and telling ppl on Twitter to vote for biden is "praxis". Thus, we are not properly prepared and many many leftists are just that; Leftists. Not revolutionaries. Not communists. They don't know their neighbors. They are not looked to as a beacon and symbol of hope and progress. We need to get serious, people. We have precious little time left. We have none to spare. We have nothing to lose but our chains if we can put this together, work and fight together. We have everything to gain. A whole world. We have a world to win, comrades. @National Christian Front First of all, nice nazi dog whistle as your name and profile pic. Second, as far as I am concerned I have class consciousness and the Capitalist does not care for us, the working men. The capitalists only care for one thing, making me work more for less. Third, Socialist policy like welfare and social programs are inherently socialist. I think socialist programs are needed like we should be entitled to universal healthcare and stimulus when we are down under financially. Fourth, I want to democratize the workplace, I think if the worker owned a share of his own workplace he would be more invested in the bussiness and if the bussiness was more focused less on long term gains and more on increasing the income of its constituents, we wouldn't have Nestle monopolizing water or big oil companies tearing down competitors.

@BalaclavaMilitantProductions Well indeed the economy is resurging, but the economy is, suprisingly enough, not equal to the average man's purse. Nor it does to many poor peoples' purses. In addition, the US has proven it's keen on preserving wealth above life under Trump and the state governments. It may have been a "purse saver" (not really), but it have led to over half a million deaths- many of them are preventable with the right procedures. With capitalism proving its priorities are not on you and me, why not look towards a new venture? Fascism has proven itself destructive, so perhaps we could take elements from communism? A mix and match perhaps, but it is better to form a "bastard" than to allow the US as it stands now to keep its race to the bottom.

I appreciate quite a lot this work you're doing. We gotta do a global revolution united, be it with some we don't like. It's better than taking side with capitalists and keeping their system alive.

The revolution is eternal, remember just because this is the song of a past, and unfinished attempt does not mean we have failed, we must march on until the workers are truly liberated

The original lyrics are written by the now world-famous author Bertolt Brecht. In the early 30s, the Nazis started to really focus on his work. For example, they attacked the performance of his play *Die Maßnahme* in 1933. Because of the increasing pressure, he fled to exile with his family the same year. The Nazis then blacklisted everything he had written. In 1935, his German citizenship got revoked. He arrived in the United States in 1941 when he was finally able to acquire a visa. As a Marxist, though, he was permanently monitored by the FBI and also had to register as an *Enemy Alien* . He never was a member of a communist party. After the war ended, in 1947, Brecht wanted to return to Germany. He was denied entry to the Allied occupied areas, though. So he went to Zürich because only the Swiss would let him in. In the end, he was able to return to Berlin in 1948 because of an invitation to the Soviet occupied zone. So despite fleeing the Nazis, despite his remarkable Work and antifascist engagement, when he came to the US, he was still seen as a hostile. He never was acknowledged by the Allied. Had he stayed in Germany, he would have ended up in a concentration camp - guaranteed.

Had he stayed in Germany and survived the Nazi concentration camps, he many have been sent to the Soviet Gulag as being an untrustworthy leftist. This was the story of a famous actress in the German film of the Three Penny Opera.

Hello my fellow comrades in the comments, I'm just here to say keep fighting against fascism and neoliberalism and eventually will overcome capitalism. Our movement is too strong for them. 💪

I feel like recruiting hackers would significantly help the movement. We didn’t have the Hacker Ethic when we first fought for labor rights, imagine the powerhouse of the hacker ideology fighting with the already strong anarchists and commies!

They somehow made einheitsfrontlied sound like a villain song. Either that or the man has one sinister sounding voice.
@somebodylikesbacon19602 жыл бұрын
idk if the voice is part of it too, but it's definitely the way the chords are played that make it sound like that. They're played on every beat, most of them minor chords, and the chord on the second "so left two three" is a diminished chord

We shall see Verily we too shall see The day that has been promised That is written in the book of destiny When the mountains of oppression and cruelty Will float away like carded wool We the oppressed beneath our feet The earth will echo like a thumping heartbeat And the skies over the heads of the rulers Will echo with the sounds of thunders When from the seat of the Almighty Every icon of falsehood will be taken out When we the faithful who have been barred out of the sacred place Will be seated on high cushions Every crown will be flung Every throne brought down What will remain is only His name He who is present and also absent He who is the observer and also the observed The sky will drown with the cries I am one with him Which is you and which is me And what will rule the world is only his creation Which is you and which is me -Salute to all comrades from Pakistan

Dread, despair, sorrow ruled the Earth, Oh I tell you, with my whole heart, When the red ideology rose, "for the people" they say, Where was Mao? When millions rot away? Where was Stalin? When millions slaved away? "Fight for the people", they said to me, How will I do so if the people aren't free? How will Comunism handle the economy? When all it does, is hurt my autonomy? How can I stand, for any Communism? When all it does, is create more division? Comrades, they said, looked out for each other Is that why, in 1991, the Union was gone forever? You all know it well; all the reds do Communism will fail, and so will you. And at last, when the Red Scare ends, There will arise a new world, all being friends And thus, I say, Communism will fail, And rising from its ashes, my nation shall prevail. - Me, an Indian hardline anti-communist

@AJ K. Lawson ah yes, Americans can't suffer cause we live in the richest country in the world, never mind the crippling debt most of us have which forces some of us to be homeless and without adequate living conditions, In all seriousness most of the people in the US don't really have cushy lives, it's cushy compared to third world nations, but nothing like how most countries imagine. When it comes to issues the modern problems, America is known to be pretty awful at it, Healthcare as an example would be great, America spends more on healthcare then any other developed nation, but the commonwealth fund has analyzed it and ranked it the worst performance among developed nations. That's just one problem, and the comment of "you guys have it so good you can't complain" is so wrong when we've got problems of our own here, it shouldn't be "we are suffering more then you so you can't complain" but rather, "we are all suffering in our own ways so we should work together"

Block to block if it must be that way. But I swear to you all the time is near. With the rise of people realizing the evil of our bourgeoisie overlods. And the rise of xenophobia and nationalism it only makes sense that our time will come. If history has taught us anything patientce is key.
