Song of the Week 2019 - #3 - “Number of My Days” (feat. Joni Eareckson Tada)

Psalms 90:12 Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
To count the number of our days is to live our lives with an eternal perspective or you could say - to live this life for the next. This way of seeing our days changes everything.
It means our dreams and goals will be motivated by the things that will matter a thousand years from now. It’s a reminder to not chase after the things that won’t last, but to seek first Jesus and His Kingdom.

What a beautiful and meaningful song to those of us seniors who are counting every day now. Joni is one of my spiritual heroes and when I think of all she has been through, I realize my aches and pains are nothing. She has surely learned the meaning of what God told Paul: “My Grace is sufficient for you.” Thank you guys for a song that has become my anthem now and I cannot listen to it without tears of joy and hope!

Truly, this is an awesome song. I heard it for the first time on 12th October 2022 and I jumped out of bed to find it and I did. I listen to the harmony which is fabulous n sweet. I was pleasantly surprised to hear how sweet a voice Joni has. The lyrics n music by Bro Tommy are on point.
