Unconditional has pretty much the same core team as Roses - Jaehyun himself, plus his friend Hyun and Taneisha Jackson are credited on both tracks. So it's no wonder it's another R&B banger!! What made the J album so special is how well all the songs go together, so I can see why Unconditional didn't made the cut in the end, because it has a bit more brighter quality than the rest. Jaehyun himself said the song was always intended to come after the release of Smoke. And for me at least it works great as a stand-alone single. But that he's droping it right before he's going to the military is criminal!
