In full honesty, this song makes me feel happier. The Song of Healing is already really somber, and its more about accepting your pain rather than fighting it. The way this song loops backwards, its almost like going back in time, going to a place where you can correct your mistakes. Maybe that's why it's more soothing. I know this is a videogame but damn if it's not a piece of art.

The early 2010s when I was just getting into Creepypasta, I would play this song over and over and I have a specific memory of this playing on my iPod with my earphones in. It was a humid and cloudy day and I was walking down a trail in the forest close to my house. I had just finished drawing copied fanart of already popular fanart of BEN Drowned. It was around the start of my downhill. Now almost 10 years later, I haven’t been the same. I wish I could return back to when life was more simpler and I felt I had some control over it.

When I listen to this, I am full on CREEPED OUT. Despite what everyone else is saying about this song calming you slightly later inside of it. But this song is legitimately what is going to play in my nightmares tonight; the melody being backwards is actually hella terrifying, and the fact you can somewhat hear song of healing, but to such an extent that it only skeeves you out more. Hearing what you loved, twisted and bent into the monstrosity Song Of Unhealing is. But, this does absolutely capture the terrifying, unknown nature of Ben Drowned.
