Pet Shop Boys recorded a version of this song for a BBC Presley Tribute special, back in 1986. Due to popular demand, they recorded this as a single, which , to this day, is one of their biggest hits.

They did this for a tv special over here in the U.K, where popular artists were asked to perform an Elvis cover on the anniversary of his death. Afterwards everyone was begging them to release it and they did, it went to number 1 over here and in many other countries. Great track.

Always On My Mind came out after the Actually album. Christmas No. 1 in the UK charts in 87. The version on Introspective is a remixed version in keeping with the long form dance album it is on.
