I flew to Dublin to see him live and after the concert I talked with a bunch of strangers and we ended up talking about mental health and how to deal with it. Grown ass dudes that never met talking about feelings... That simply doesn't happen. 🤷 But it did because of a rapper. And we also had one of the best nights out afterwards! I love HMack. Greatest artist there ever was.

I was lucky enough to meet up with Di3sel Optics before a chicago show, n he carried my wheelchair down to the front to watch w/them n some of the other superfans. He's an amazing person, n SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER tall! he made me feel so tiny in my wheelchair. I'm 42 so i'm def an "older demographic" n one of my favorite harry mack episodes is a guerilla bars actually... n the prom night one (Guerrilla Bars 25). Just the vibe n everything, was so high energy (except for the 2nd rap for the nerds. they acted like i did at the concert.. scared n just very introverted) So i cant blame them. But all the other raps in that episode n there were like 5 or so.. were so great! Normally i preferred the more intimate setting of the omegle bars, cuz it felt more personal, but that's the one episode (the prom night one) that stands out in my head as the favorite for me.

Before the Omegle series, he was doing Guerilla Bars and they stopped because of Covid, but started back up afterwards. They were all also really great. I became aware of Harry because of the Omegle series and instantly binged most of them back then. I was hesitant to check out his other videos, but they were also really worth watching and listening to, ESPECIALLY the guerilla bars series! Also: I absolutely love Emma!

This was one of his very cathartic episodes. He really allowed people to see the true nature of his positivity and empathy. I think this helped a lot of people solidify their appreciation for what he was able to achieve, and during the pandemic, his voice of positivity was desperately needed. Wow. I thought I'd seen all of Harry Mack's videos, but I must'a missed this one. That last verse for the man missing his fiance was crazy. "No artist trains for a moment like that" is right. I had a chance encounter with him a year ago. He really is that nice. He was super friendly, encouraging and interested in what I had to say. Just a genuinely good guy spreading positivity wherever he goes. The encounter got me thinking, and I decided we could use more positivity in this world that's getting more cynical and cold every day, so I'm trying to keep spreading the positivity wherever I go now, too. I’ve watched countless H-Mack reactions because I’m obsessed. That’s why this video was at the top of my home page even though I’ve never seen this channel. OB18 is the best intro. It’s cool to see musicians share their perspective, but even better when one of them really knows what’s up. And then, after 2 interactions she said, “He doesn’t even know what’s about to happen”. And I knew she was about to go on an emotional roller coaster. I loved this video. I would show a new fan GB25 next. It won a Webby.

Loved this reaction. Love to see new reactions to HM. Especially in the early days. I think jumping up past 40 is a good start. I love 45, 52 and pretty much most of them after that. I like his earlier ones too (like 18 probably one of my favs and is where I began really binging because that is where I saw he was a genuine, authentic, good person). But he definitely finds a stride in 40s. And don't forget guerilla bars; in some ways those are even more impressive. Looking forward to more.

Yes, when Harry enters the oldschool, then it becomes something special. Like in the last free in OB85. But you can search for "catastrophe," "blasphemy," or "bleeding on the track.". But there is some cool stuff out of Omegle like "Talking Dog" or "I Broke Down My Bars.". Also EP's (I am the happy owner of one vinyl); if you are not familiar with them, check Rap Coltrane (very oldscool vibe) and Soulilloquies (which is kind of state of mind trilogy)

OB 18.. Loved this one because it goes beyond just his mind blowing talent.. but this one shows his character and the way he connects to people. I think of him as the modern day Bob Ross.. he takes a blank canvas and creates a work of art right in front of your eyes.. and he does it all with a Big Smile and great positive energy. Loved the reaction.. you always do a great job and she was a great guest realtor.. very cool.. always nice to see someone find Harry for the first time. I know subtitles are frequently needed just to understand rappers slurred speech these days, but pro tip: Harry speaks clearly enough to understand every word without them, and the listening experience is much more enjoyable when the end of the bar is a surprise when it lands. It was a great reaction, and I hope these two awesome teachers and Harry are wildly successful in inspiring a whole new generation with the power of love and music.
