I'm blown away by the amount of work you have put into just one journal! More work than most put into ten journals! Absolutely lovely! 😘😘😘

@@AngelaKerrDesigns you are very welcome! My compliment is well deserved so no need to thank me. You earned it and then some! Do you know what I really loved as well...? No inked edges! I'm getting sooooo bored of distressed page edges! This was pretty and fresh and floral and feminine. I get the distressed look, to make something look like an heirloom that you've inherited, a cherished antique vibe. But this is a journal brand new, for a girl NOW, and more than worthy of becoming somebody's heirloom in years to come. Distressed vibe is like you've got somebody else's journal, from 100 years ago. But most of us love Edith Holden and the journal she created, I like that this journal is exactly like hers was when new... Crisp and clean and ready to be filled, it's ready to BE owned, rather than pre-owned style. You tea dyed some, left some stark white... the blend was an artistic mix of texture and not trying to be something it isn't. But hey, I'm not anti distress style, I'm just slightly jaded with it now. It's great to see something fresh and new. So a modern female can be her own Jane Austin, her own Edith Holden, does that make sense? Rather than buying one of theirs at an auction, or creating one to look like one of theirs. It's not aged, because it's brand new, waiting to be filled with someone else's story from now... that could potentially birth a new inspirational journal for people to love 100 years from now. I love that it looks "heirloom worthy" rather than an heirloom already. It's journey has only just begun! It's beautiful! So neatly made and meticulously measured and stitched... Not just torn and glued down and finished in a couple of hours, this screams "labour intensive" - aka Quality! Your channel is going to skyrocket! 150% no doubt! I hope you're ready for it, a stampede of fans is heading your way! Us first 650 or so will be swallowed up in the masses! 😘😘😘

I feel like you have managed to read my thoughts and you have captured every idea I had and the purpose of the journals I make. I don’t like to use the word junk journals, but keepsakes. Treasure for future generations. I am so grateful that you see that. Each one a labour of love, most definitely. At times, I have wished I could roll them out, some people do a couple per week, but they would loose their “identity” and that is not what they are about. I will most probably read your comment again and again. You have honestly inspired me even further! Thank you so much for writing these beautiful words. They have encouraged me more than you know. @@AngelaKerrDesigns i can't do "quick" either! I can take an hour if not more on a tag! Lmao! Some people have half a journal in that time! I will also throw something if I'm not 100% happy with it. I couldn't give something unless I knew it blew my own socks off, let alone the recipient! Everything you hoped to achieve in this journal is spilling over and painstakingly obvious. My words are not empty flattery, they are an honest observation of the facts. I too wish I could be more productive, and I'd love to be able to pull off the relaxed haphazard look, but my brain screams "it's not balanced! It's not lined up properly!" etc. It looks pretty when others do it, but my brain just hates my own attempts at it. I'm glad my words made you happy, but do remember they are deserved! YOU inspired them. Never try and produce quicker or keep up with demand because it would only dilute your passion and artistic integrity! People always value more, the things that are rarer to come by, and this is definitely a jewel among a sea of plastic gems! Inspired, inspiring and inspirational! xxxxxxxx 😘😘😘
