I somehow managed to full clear against my 2nd round opponent even though all their characters are in relics and I don't have anyone above G12. And all but one were first attempt. If they attack they'll almost certainly win as I highly doubt anything I have on defense would get a hold, outside of maybe my ships as their fleet wasn't very strong, but they've yet to do anything with less than 2 hours in the round so I'm hopeful. Last GAC was my first ever 3-0 which I was happy about but then everyone this time is way stronger than me so I was bummed. If I can get a cheap win I'll be somewhat happy again!

Why is nobody using Palpatine's 2nd special? If 2 enemies have shock, you just get a new turn, allowing you to get closer to the AOE and give mara jade 10% of attack and protection, shouldn't it be useful? Am i stupid and missing something again?

It dispels shock from the stunned enemies, meaning they can start getting their Turn Meter pumping

Palpatine’s leader ability gives 20% turn meter when inflicting a debuff plus his basic gives 15% for each shock on the field which in a regular setting (5v5) it goes up to 95% turn meter at the most on a single basic. Most of the time it’s better to just get the shocks in and use basic for more damage plus more turns. On a 3v3 setting however it’s much different as it adds to at the most 65%. It’s easy to forget the change in turn meter in a 3v3 setting since it’s not the regular game mode. In a 3v3 setting it would be better to use the third ability to lower the cooldown for the second ability and get an extra turn. Otherwise it’s not much of a difference if the Palpatine is modded fast enough.
