Young man. I must congratulate you. You are the best person I have seen in my life, all professions combined, with so many talents and qualities for teaching. It is not that difficult to play the guitar. But how difficult it is sometimes to teach it. You are the perfect person for this. At least for this song. Thank you very much for sharing this incredible talent with everyone. Pedagogy does not seem to have any secrets for you!

Been following your channel for quite a while now and I keep coming back to certain lessons. I've finally realized that I NEED to develop a hard core intent to grow and achieve guitar proficiency. THIS one: "Tennessee Whiskey • Solo acoustic guitar lesson w/ tabs (Chris Stapleton)" keeps me coming back. TODAY, for this lesson, I am wondering which string gauge you have mounted as well as pick brand, model, thickness. As a long term novice with a buddy who aspires to reach my level of proficiency ( LOL) I am finding myself advising him regarding strumming patterns, picks, bending, muting and more. Everything I have retained from your lessons has been helpful due to your teaching style and extras that you provide. Comprehensive, beyond "just licks" really makes Song Notes stand a cut above.

"Tennessee Whiskey" is a country song written by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove. It was originally recorded by country artist David Allan Coe for his album of the same name Tennessee Whiskey, whose version peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1981.[1] George Jones' 1983 version of the song was included on his album Shine On, and reached number two on the Hot Country Singles chart.
