Behind the scenes of rehearsals for Songs for Freedom, a large outdoor event in Perth, presented by the Roebourne Community, City of Melville and Big hART.
The songs and stories of Roebourne were sung by leading Indigenous & WA artists including Naomi Pigram, Lois Olney, Lucky Oceans, David Hyams, Kankawa Nagarra (Olive Knight), Stephen Pigram, John Bennett, Delson Stokes, Patrick Churnside, Josie Alec, Rachel James Mason, Tyson Mowarin and more.
Music: If I Ever Get Outta Here was written by inmates of Roebourne Regional Prison, as part of Big hART's ongoing long-term songwriting program in the prison.
