Great review. Thanks for the introduction to new prog music. New to me at least. Keep up the good work.

This gentleman ranked the Pink Floyd albums. He placed "the Endless River" higher in the rankings than "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" which may actually have come "bottom", One of these albums is a posthumous album of out-takes from recent years, the other is possibly one of the most seminal and important records of any genre of the 20th century, I think decisions like this should be borne in mind when listening to his opinions on other music which are very strong on POV presented as fact and very light on accuracy. I will not be so bold as to challenge his views on The Tangent, but would really appreciate more factual accuracy and a basic high school background in the interpretation of lyrics before securing the top featured google search result for reviews of an artists album by virtue of it being "a video"

Not finished watching your review. Stopped it at circa 7:50 ish. You repeat another reviewer’s comment (the one ranking The Tangent albums - was that you with another guy?) referring to GPS Vultures as a follow up to another instrumental (on A Place In The Queue) - GPS Culture. It was NOT an instrumental. Maybe go back and listen to it again to remind yourself? Anyway, back to watching your video. PS. Think you missed the point of the third track. Andy has been homeless too. He was referring to a time he had nothing to offer a homeless lady other than a cigarette. And he has been self critical in relating how the idea about a song formed - it’s what all creatives do after all. I think that incident happened a fair few years ago. And it very much is about how absurd and cruel it is that in a rich (ish) country, anyone is homeless. That’s my soapbox! Sorry.

I don't think The Tangent's discography is spotty. I think they're remarkably consistent, actually.

Sorry, I don't agree with the comment about a song about homelessness - if that's the case there wouldn't be any protest songs or folk music. A great deal of Prog wouldn't exist either. Why shouldn't artists sing or comment about what they see around them. It's all part of life' pageant and tragedy. It's a ridiculous argument, an ultra conservative one.

Might want to learn how to pronounce band member names before launching into a review.

I don't think you listened to the same album as I did? You didn't seem to get it at all. Maybe a career at DoorDash would be better for you? I think this is certainly a prog album of the year contender at least. I think you just don't get this band.
