man, Barya its simple the best faction in the entire game, but damn the campaign put things into perspective. The lore of the game is actually really good, specially Loth. Furthermore, im of the opinion that the rana must burn #harimagang

Nice plot twist at the the end of the campaign. So our predictions were right at first. But then it all went completely other way. Barya was fighting for it's survival but then everything changed after what Bighli had done. Rana and Loth are decimated. It gives Arleon the upper hand. Cecilia's Stoutheart army is intact and on the move. Unless a new player shows up (Maybe a new faction). We will see.

I had trouble following Barya's story in this campaign... if any of you guys watching this could care to explain me that would be awesome. I'll probably have to play it again. What I got is this: Bighli was indebted with Silkspool There was a conflict (misunderstanding/tresspassing) of Hammond's lands on part of Silkspool and Bighli, which lead to the death of many arleon knights (more specifically, Hammonds' knights) Silkspool and Bighli wanted to pay a debt back to her by reclaiming old lands from Hammond? Bighli got an Aurelian Talisman which I don't get how that is tied to the story Silkspool wanted to distract another barian by releasing her enslaved Ranas working in a mine. He succeded and created a diversion for Bihgli to destroy this baryan's base Ranas used to eat Harimas, so Harimas don't want them near It seems Hammonds' claims were not well founded and that she lied about her sovergneity of those lands, causing Arleons troops to kill Silkspool (at this point Silkspool payed his debt with Hammond) The Harima knew stuff about re opening the towers, which the Loth wanted to know but he wouldn't pry In the end Bihgli sacrificed himself to give the Baryans the power to defend themselves with those towers did I get something wrong? I guess the amulet is what I don't understand at all

Most of things you got right. This amulet was required to bring back Aurelia and it happend because of Bighli and hist contract. Silkspool was in debt because Bighli killed Lady Hammond knights. Bighli thought Lady Hammond was an intruder but he was wrong. She has legally aquired some lands in Barya becuse she was banished from Arleon by Stouteharts after her father was murdered (btw I don't remember why her father was murdered it was in the first song (campaign). Because of this Bighli reckless attack Xavier, Bighli and Nimander were in debt of Lady Hammond. That's a lot of Baryan forces. It resulted in Topaz and Quartz battalions invading Stouteharts Arleon. Lady Hammond used Baryans to gain ground in Arleon to reclaim her former lands. Two Baryan battalions allied with Hammond Knights attacked Arleon. Invasion didn't go so well. Xavier was caught and executed as a bandit because Stouteharts thought that he just went rouge. They didn't expect a war with Barya. They realised it later. But after helping Lady Hammond Baryan forces withdrew from Arleon. They regreted deeply this engagement. Xavier was dead. Quartz batalion was destroyed. Topaz suffered heavy loses. They returned to Barya just to encounter massive Loth legions and rana armies ravaging their land. We know from tinkers guild messages that Rosewaters tried to hold them back. But they were far outnumebered. Golden rose forces were too few to stop both Loth and Rana. To sum up. Topaz is responsible for the rise of Loth and Rana. Rosewaters were evil (they had rana slaves) but they didn't have contracts that helped Loth and Rana. We kno that Unseen society gave the contract on talisman to Xavier. But what we don't know is who gave Xavier the contract to free Rana from Rosewaters gold mines. Xavier is really a mysterious wielder and who know if he wasn't a traitor to Barya or just reckless as all the baryans. After all Baryans don't care about honor or greater good but just business. They realised the consequences of thinking that way at the end when everybody turned on them. After invasion on Barya tinkers guild terminated all contracts with Loth and create a lot new contracts to defend Baryan towns and villages. But after destruction of Golden Rose armies only Topaz forces weakend by the war in Arleon were left to defend Barya. So Bighli decided to sacrifice himself by using places of power to destroy Rana and Loth forces invading Barya. I hope I helped you understand some events a bit.

Hammond's father lost a power struggle against the old Baron Stoutheart who then had him executed, annexed his lands and exiled Lady Hammond, all of which is perfectly legal in Arleon.

@@adrianadonis4558 No, old Baron stoutheart missed a payment in tribute from Hammonds father to which he punished him with execution and exile for his daughter. This was stated in a argument between Cecilia and Vilja in mission 2 of the first song. Also, there are implications that Cecilia father might have been a tyrant who with overbearing with his tithes and highly restrictive on their autonomy as a means of keeping his vassals under his control with hints of this being in the third Arleon mission and first loth mission which showed upon how decrypted have become loth due to having most of their wealth taken and armies too weak to defend themselves from even lowly bandits, much less from other baronies and powers like Barya which were some of the major reasons why they were quick to turn to unseen aids besides their historic reputation of loyalty to aurelia.

so barya was not only resposible for all the rana stuff but also the unseen and loth stuff... granted i am a staunch supporter of the empress return but still #blamebarya has reached a whole new level. karma is apparently a thing in arleon.
