I was lucky enough to be involved in the 2011 festival (travelling half way across the globe from Australia) and to my knowledge we had nothing like this! :(

This is just so wonderful! Here in America, people wear costumes and attend science fiction and comic cons (conventions). In the UK, there are Gilbert and Sullivan cons like that! I'd trade places in a heartbeat!
