Bsa Correspondence I still remember the days when guitar was not an approved worship instrument. I am glad it changed during my generation. Guitar has been my worship instrument since then and Malin just reminded me what a beautiful sound it can make.

So many are being drawn to the simple, quiet place. This is true of both musicians and non-musician worshippers. My story was that I ended up rediscovering classical/nylon string guitar like this after a difficult personal season that took me to the secret place of 4am practice times and God encounters. It was a season where I realized my own brokenness and need of God...and chose to walk away from the platform for the sake of my family. Best decision ever. I no longer have the same platform but what I found is there is ONLY ever an audience of one. And he is the faithful one, ever able to make us new and bring life wherever His river flows. We are called to play for the hosts for heaven, and connect with the life of the Spirit (an eternal reality). At the end of the day, if it comes from the heart then it's really set apart as true worship to the Lord and I really can see his purposes for music alive here. I rejoice with you! Here's to having a million views...but then again, you're already fulfilling his purposes as heaven smiles down!

Kyle-My wife and I both love this song, and your arrangement was just beautiful. In fact, I'm planning on playing it next month in our congregation with my own arrangement as part of an event we'll be having called, appropriately, "An Evening Of Praise". By the way, at one time, God removed me from the limelight and allowed me to go through a Jonah nightmare time to bring me to truly right relationship with Him. Praise God that He is still there when we've gotten our eyes on the roar of the wind and the fear of the angry waves. He's promised to never leave us, or forsake us at that time and is only waiting for us to cry "Help Lord" Blessings. I've spent the last 48 years keeping my focus on The Lord Jesus rather than on the circumstances.
