They matured so much with their music, this album sounds almost like a singer song writer Indie production.

(G)I-DLE is a lyrically heavy group. Being able to read the lyrics would make you enjoy the song. Hann (Alone) - their first cb, start of the story. They promised that they will forget their partner. Hann (Alone in Winter) - continuation of Hann (Alone) where the main character is admitting that they can't forget their lover. Hwaa (Burning Flower) - Finally moving on and burning the flower or their regret Moon - The main character wants to hide their emotion. This could also mean that as an artist, they want to get away from the spotlight and be themselves. Lost - Feeling of losing someone. Dahlia - Comparing your lover to a flower which has both negative and positive connotations.

Hi I'm Korean NEVERLAND and I really love your video. I was looking for someone who commented professionally on music like you!! And I'd like to tell foreign fans about important thing. HANN(一[Alone]), HANN(寒[Alone in Winter]), and HWAA(火花[Fire, Flower]) / It's a story line that goes in the order of the songs. To summarize the meaning of the lyrics, HANN(一[Alone]) : You turned me around with cold eyes as I'm a stranger... I can't help but stand in a blankly... I saw you who I didn;t know until now... All I can do is just smirk... I don't know you anymore... Yeah, I'll forget you... HANN(寒[Alone in Winter]) : The promise I was going to erase you was lie... Every word I said I'll forget you was lie... There's never been a day I didn't think of you... But You show your back to me as if you believed my words... HWAA(火花[Fire, Flower]) : To dry all my tears, make a fire. To restore my lost spring, to melt all my heart covered with cold snow, make a fire. I'll burn everything about you I have. Even put lingering affection in my arms and burn me. And I'll bloom me again. [HANN(一[Alone]) is based on the lyric poem 'Kim So-wol''s 'Azalea Flower'] When you're leaving, because you're disgusting to see me I will send you without a word Azalea Flowers in Yeongbyeon's Yak-Mountain, pick a bunch and I'll spray it on your way out Every step of the way The flower that lay, step on it gently and go away When you're leaving because you're disgusting to see me I will never shed tears even if I die This poem is very famous in Korea for its lyric poetry. I think this poem can sum up the HAN of Korean people. The emotion HAN, I'm talking about right now is the meaning of the title of IDLE's song. If you want to know about HAN, Here's the link : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Han_(cultural) Uniquely, the female speaker of the poem does not want to part with him, but she tells a lie. It's an ironic expression. And this expression comes from HANN(一[Alone]). This is why the lyrics of 'Everything I said was a lie' come out in HANN(寒[Alone in Winter]). In this album, not only the title song but also all the songs sang well about HAN. The lyrics of all the songs are very Korean and use old words, so the atmosphere is basically sad. If foreign fans knew Korean, they would have been much more emotionally shaken, but it is too sad that there is a difference in language. But I wanted to tell you as much as possible what the foreign fans didn't know, and I think the purpose was well conveyed. I hope you continue to pay attention to our (G)I-DLE's moves!

ahn yeeun is also a korean music artist and her Lion cover and arrangement went a bit viral in korea! she's a huge neverland and it was cool for the Fandom that one of their own could write alongside with soyeon with their own voice (han sounds very out of ahn yeeuns wheelhouse) for the gidle members

Had a great time listening to you breaking down the songs and have a feeling I actually learned a lot. Soyeon is in all writing credits because she always writes her own rap. She doesn't want it any other way haha :P Dahlia is Minnie's and Lost is Yuqi's but in case of Moon, Minnie wrote the melody around a year ago and after a while asked Soyeon to write lyrics for her. Dahlia is my fave btw, can't get enough

This album is so amazing. I love every single track. They are so good and each song has its own colour but yet feel connected somehow. Thank you for your breakdown, learned a lot from your explanation . It enriched my listening experience. I am just excited for the future prospects of this self produced group. One can see how they love to experiment and play with their voices , its probably coz the songs are produced by the members so they know their ranges and the colour of their really well and knows how to uniquely use them. Thanks for the shout out to the writers and producers of the songs before you talked about the songs.

@RayRicciMusic3 жыл бұрын
Oh wow you're right I did in fact not notice that at all. I did notice that HWAA, Hann (Alone) and Hann (Alone in winter) were written within the same key, however I missed that the piano chords actually sound like the melody within the chorus of Hann1 :D Thank you so much for telling me!

its so funny that you said Moon sounds quite happy because the lyrics are about not wanting the moonlight shinning on you so that you can cry/hide in the darkness

Also nichts, wo man denkt "Na Hoppla, was ist das denn?".
