It is amazing as to how human brains are deceived in the perception of the 3rd Dimension, the Depth? Those animals that have eyes can only perceive Horizon and Vertices not the Depth. Only Human Brains have evolved to perceive the 3rd Dimension, however, it is still evolving. As Tyson said: Brain Teasers are Brains Failures. The most puzzling is the Painting of Van Eyck's The Arnolfini Portrait. Where is the Painter? I am amazed at the ability of Artists to go beyond the norm and create such works of Art

Not true, most Predators with front facing stereoscopic vision can see in 3 D. They need it for hunting, it is how the get depth Perception. And can judge how far away their prey is. Sorry humans are not as Special as we wished we were.
