First of all…this sweater is GORGEOUS!! I love, love, love the color! WOW!! This is definitely the first video I’ve seen on these brushes! Well done! They are so incredibly beautiful! Oh how I wish I had been on time for either release! 😢 I love the squirrel brushes I have so much, but all the eye squirrel are crease blenders. I need some of these smaller shapes in squirrel for sure!

What can I say, Uniqlo makes sweaters in all of my favourite colours haha! I was actually hoping it would not be the first, I do not have the depth of knowledge that fude reviewers have. At least I gave a fair warning!

I remember a Mac employee showing me how to do inner corner highlight in 2002/2003. I have always done an inner corner highlight ever since. These brushes look lovely.

I love my Sonia G brushes. I admit that I would probably not have for daily use but for special occasions. I always like to rotate my squirrel brushed so that they don’t get used so much. I do not wash them after every use. The only ones I wash after every use (mostly, unless I am lazy) are the ones for cream products especially foundation and concealer…which is why have a bunch! Edit: I was on the site refreshing until it was available. I also wanted the brush holder…so I was waiting. They arrived Thursday. Not used them yet. Plan to do so for New Years makeup look. Doing subliminal with the new blue from PML. One of my favorite looks to do!

Hahah no way am I only gonna use them for special occasions, paid too much money for that. They need to be utilized! I wash face brushes 1-2x times a week, eye brushes immediately after use. That sounds like a very Isa look!!!

@@mariam.a. actually …I have so much Fude that I can rotate them! I have the every day workhorses and then special occasion ones. I am the opposite, I wash face brushes very often but not my eye natural hair ones. 😎

Ooh I was on the website early too, and I did get the brush set, but the brush holder disappeared from my cart when I was in the middle of checking out. Very disappointing, but I’ll try again when they restock. This is the first time I’ve purchased any holiday release so I’m used to NOT having them.

I have been obsessed with the last two holiday brush sets from the brand and I feel so lucky to have them both in my collection. So excited to see that you grabbed ‘em too Mariam, your uploads are always so wonderful! Any time Sonia G does squirrel bristles everyone loses it and they’re gone so fast, I hope she has a permanent squirrel bristle set on the horizon😭😮‍💨🤩

Ok that explains a lot, because I have never seen a Sonia G set sell out THIS fast. I don't have her previous squirrel releases. I am not sure a permanent one would come...squirrel hair seems to be hard to source and quite expensive.

What a splendid surprise Mariam. This video reminds me when you released the first in depth review of a Lisa Eldrige's eyeshadow palettes. I have been searching You tube and the net for a dedicated review of these brushes before the second batch availability on the 27th. NOTHING. As of now I simply can't justify this luxurious expense. So happy that you decided and were able to get them. I am admiring and enjoying them through you. I love when funtion, form and art come together. Gorgeously done. By the way Alice's earing design are too cute. So looking forward to you unveiling your recent haul in the upcoming videos. I would deeply appreciate an update how you are incorporating these brushes in your routine before they come available again in January. In a way I am glad that you are reviewing these brushes since I expect most of the "classic" fude collectors or content creators to be very satsified in adding these brushes to their collections and I am the sort of person who ultimately wants to use their purchases/splurges. Oh, thank you for showing how you use these - I just used the tiny brush today and it’s lovely, but forgot to try the others or kind of forgot how I was going to try to use them- but actually, how you used your brushes are exactly the *gap* issues I’ve needed a brush for (oh Sonia G is smart)… a softer version for… I have “enough brushes” for me … but just a beginning/medium amount so I’m trying to be picky … so basically, I feel like I made a wise and perfect purchase with these - which wasn’t easy to justify, bc it was so soon after the holidays and I emit I was swayed mostly by the sheer beauty of the brushes

Hi, The brush set is very beautiful!😍 I bought it when was restocked second time but they will ship in a few days. Also I have the one from last year (squirrel bristles as well) and I love it. You can use the bigger brush for setting powder under eye, eyelids or other small areas.🙂 Thanks for sharing!

​ @mariam.a. My skin is very dry under eye and the only concealer I can use is Dior Forever concealer on top of a tone of eye cream. But I can use powder if is a good one for dry skin. My go to powder for under eye and also for entire face is Sisley Phyto Poudre Compacte. Another good one is Westman Atelier Vital Pressed Skincare Powder. 🙂

Oh yay!! I’m glad you got these on the first launch! I missed the first but narrowly got in on the second. The site was super laggy, but I made it! I have a special place in my heart for the Japanese crane motif, it being one of my favorites as a very young child for some reason. So I was determined to get these! I’m excited for the biggest brush because I use that style exactly how you demonstrated. I’m hoping the one-and-done shades I use will work with the soft hair. 🤞🏽 sigh, I really need to do a brush declutter and re-org. I found a stash of brushes hidden in a drawer and it felt like it doubled my collection. They’re lower end brands though, from before I bought a bunch of Wayne Goss ones when he first released his line. I’m having a hard time letting go of some of them even though they’re not fude or super amazing synthetics. Please tell me why? 😅

Then I am very glad you got this set! Sounds like it was made for you. I think it should...the creamy matte from Lancome was a good test for it since it is not as easy to pick up as a softer pressed matte. Hahah because we are all hoarders. I also have a bunch of brushes I NEVER use but yet they are still around....cause they don't expire and who knows I might need them some day.
