Thank you for your feedback and kind words. My mother's oral history is a valuable addition to her book, "Shanghai Forever Lost," which details her life in China. Unfortunately, due to the book's sensitive nature, it cannot be published there. Thus, I am conducting interviews that draw upon the book to share her journey from 1930s Shanghai to 1950s Beijing. She's 96 years old, and time is precious. I aim to preserve these interviews as a time capsule for our family and anyone interested in knowing her personal perspective on this period of history.

謝謝留言。上海“孤島”時期是一個歷史名詞，指1937年11月12日至1941年12月8日期間的上海。所謂“孤島”指的是上海公共租界（不包括虹口、楊樹浦兩區）和法租界
