It warms my heart that my first thought watching this wasn't, "Man, this would've been the coolest thing ever if this game was actually good," but rather, "Oh man, I can't wait to see how this looks in Project '06!" We really are living in the best timeline.

Sonic Superstars brought back the "last story" formula. So maybe we'll see that again in a 3D game.

I really hope they do. It's always somehow idk, exciting? Hype inducing? Seeing something like "FINAL EPISODE" or whatever else indicating a true finale, letting you get ready emotionally for what's to come while in menu lmao
