What if (and this is a big "if" on whether they put the zone in the game) in Hidden Palace Zone after you defeated the boss there's a cutscene of Sonic and Tails jumping on a spring to the next zone we see Knuckles sleeping next to the Master Emerald completely unaware of the battle that happened just a quarter mile away when suddenly...Robo-Sonic bursts though the ceiling and tries to snatch the Master Emerald from the sleeping Echidina but fails when he wakes up so Robo jets away and Knuckles starts giving chase to hopefully find out who sent it in the first place. "Who's tougher than leather!? That's right! You can now play as KNUCKLES". It would be the same campaign as Sonic and Tails' with the only differences being that Robo-Sonic is piloting the bosses instead of Eggman,anything that involves the Tornado is just Knuckles gliding making Sky Chase Zone shorter with only enemies being ones that you would have to intentionally try to get hit by which would cause Knuckles to falter in the air for a second then keep going as for the Death Egg it would consist of the same small corridor as normal but crashed on Angel Island lose wires would be sparking in the background and lights flickering there you find Robo-Sonic dented and scratched after losing to Sonic as Knuckles walks up it,it reactivates and starts attacking,after defeating Robo-Sonic it decides it's time for plan B and hooks itself up to the Death Egg Robot which is so mangled after crashing with the egg-shaped space fortress that it doesn't even look remotely like it's creator. After the intense final battle Knuckles climbs out of the Death Egg and investigate why his home is no longer floating,at which point he comes acroos a portly bald man in a red sweater and black rubber pants getting Eggman's attention Knuckles points to him and than to the grounded Death Egg as to ask "Did you do this!?" Eggman thinks to himself for a second then shakes his head 'No' he pulls out a projector with a hologram of Sonic with Tails and motions his hand to it showing Knuckles who the "villains" that crashed that thing onto his island are and with that Knuckles runs off to prepare a deadly welcome for the hedgehog and fox...leaving Eggman chuckling at the fact that he so easily someone to keep Sonic off his back while he finds a way to get his ultimate creation flying again. ".....to be continued in Sonic 3 and Knuckles"

Its easy to get debug and go to other levels, just run the game with "--level ehz --debug" and I'm sure you can figure out the rest.

I have looked at every single comment in this video and I have a question to ask. I know that this isn't supposed to be a level you can play, but why are you making your method of accessing this stage private? Unless you are one of the people working on this fan-game, I do not understand why you cannot share a link with other people, let alone the technique itself on how to modify the .exe or if there are other steps into performing the technique.

I don't intend to leave all this private. To do this you need some knowledge with C# and a little bit in reverse for decompiling. I can't really remember where but there should be a list someone in the game that tells the game which zone to add to the level select. Just set them all to true, compile it, start the game, enter the level select code and it should show up.

Anyways, thank you for answering my question and giving me the information that I was looking for, yet I (at the moment) cannot run the newest demo on my computer due to the fact that I need a newer version of OpenGL to do that. Been a long time, You have to edit the exe, And one of the classes contains information on what stages are enabled, You have to edit that.
