@@RonFnf983 interesting fact about this track, it's the only MJ track not based on an existing song. Sure it samples Peter Piper by Run DMC, but it's not based on any song. Carnival Night is based on Jam, Ice Cap is based on Hard Times (by The Jetzons), the ending theme is based on Stranger in Moscow (song was written in 1993), and Knuckles' theme is based on Blood on the Dance Floor.

In case you are wondering, the reason MJ's launch base is "underappreciated" is because most of the players back in the day lost their sense of hearing due to the heavily compressed dac channel. On genesis the sound quality was REALLY bad.
