A lot of movies in Screen X now have more runtime in the format. I saw "Despicable Me 4" in Screen X and about 2/3 of the runtime was on all the screens. There was also a considerable amount for "Wicked" and "Gladiator 2."

This would be a cool concept for a new type of format for films if there wasn't one garish flaw with the presentation of this video... the left and right screens look like they were using AI-generated features to fill it up instead of having those scenes filmed for the format itself. Just look at how the background effects didn't sync properly, or how Tails and Knuckles were frozen in place at 0:57 and 1:01. I think ScreenX is a cool idea for a theater format, but if the extended screens are just going to use AI-generated technology to cut production time then that would be a setting I WOULDN'T go to.

I dont think AI would accurately just recreate the knuckles model and stuff, or know that Tails and Maddie were offscreen in the shot with tom. I'm pretty sure this is just genuinely how its been shot and animated, where of course the offscreen part doesnt need animated, no AI here

Only during certain scenes when the side projectors are active, as most of the film is usually just the center projector. It’s also recommended to sit in the far back center to get the best experience.

Shadow looks a lot like Sonic: like him, he is a hedgehog, black with red streaks and white fur on his neck. After the death of her, the only friend Shadow ever had, the black hedgehog sought revenge and made numerous mistakes, but always managed to get back on the right path.

i watched sonic 3 in screenx, it was awesome imo. they pick a few scenes with screenx tho. but the scenes with it make u feel like ur in the movie😅. i watched it in the third row and u really only look at the middle screen. 10/10 for me!

I personally find this type of screen way too big and overwhelming, even when watching from right at the back of the cinema. Also my Cineworld doesn't even have center back seats for 4DX 2D. I prefer standard screenings.

@@JBDoesSomeStuff part of the film. In shots with Tom and Sonic, you can see that the parts that wouldn't be in the normal screen are very much part of the film. You can see the rest of sonic's hidey hole, you can see the tent from that one scene where sonic has the rubber duck floatie and in the scene where tom is smooshed against the keypad, you can see Maddie behind him. Safe to say it seems real.

And it took place in the same room I think... The keypad room you mentioned . Eggman and Gerald was wearing those black and red suits. Hopefully you know what I mean. And they were wearing those same suits too in a TV spot.
