Honestly speaking, sonic advance 2 was the hardest in the gba series. Hardest for emeralds, hardest levels and all the bosses too. Especially considering your running all the time, you definite need to time your jumps properly.

@@Phoenix_Blader_93 In case you somehow never got an answer, you unlock True Area 53 by beating XX with all characters (not counting Amy) and collecting all the Chaos Emeralds as Sonic. Then complete XX with Sonic again and the extra zone will be on the map when you next play.

Bosses in a nutshell: hammer car with arm that does nothing. Tank. Thing that shoots out spike platforms. WAT IS DAT THING!? Wheel with laser and hand similar to WAT IS DAT THING?! Gravity thing. All the previous bosses. The one boss that was in the first game but it's not a chase. Giant shrimp robot thing.
