Hot Crater Act 1 from Sonic Advance 2, remastered to CD quality, using the original sample sources!
This remaster was done by Nuclear! Following our work on the first Sonic Advance, we're coming in now with songs from the second game! I find Nuclear's work so far on this game to be quite nice, and is a game that I am sure many of you are excited for. Stay tuned for more tracks to come, in the future!

Curious, would it be possible to modify the game to hear the uncompressed samples ingame in mGBA?

That is possible, however I'm not knowledgeable enough about assembly or GBA modding to do so.

I don't think that's possible at all. The GBA speakers(even when it's emulated) has the max sample rate of 16.777khz, which is very low quality compared to modern music, which is 48khz or 44.1khz (This is just a thought, there COULD be a possibility for high quality audio in the GBA)
