Right. No game can match its unique energy and sheer replay value. The only game I can think of that is as replayable as this is Classic Doom, but even then the gameplay is consistent. In this game it’s constantly changing to keep you on your toes and to make sure you don’t get bored or tired of running as a speed character, hunting for emeralds, or platforming and shooting in a mech.

41:37 As a kid, I always wondered why Sonic phrased it as "I hate to ask but can you help them?" I was like, "Knuckles is your friend and theirs - of course he'll help!" But as an adult, I realized that it shows Sonic's deep respect for Knuckles as a fellow "hero". I believe a small part was due to Sonic legitimately wishing he could go back and save them, but he mostly is acknowledging that Knuckles probably has a plan of his own and it could be a severe inconvenience, possibly detrimental to rush back (even though Tails had it under control). I'm so glad I grew up with these characters and this game.

The more i see the scenes, the more i believe Sonic won the first fight (watch Shadow’s panting) and Shadow wins the second one (final Story doesn’t have the Ark damaged and Eggman is there at the core)

Both are panting after the first battle, to me it's a draw. Neither obtain victory and the battle ends early. Dr. Robotnik doesn't impact the fight between Sonic and Shadow, only sending Shadow after Sonic shortly after obtaining the last chaos emerald. (Which implies Tails lost the fight, he wouldn't have been able to warn Shadow about Sonic otherwise. But Shadow could have found out some other way.) Hard to say who won the second fight though. While you're right about the cannon not being damaged, Shadow also doesn't have a reason to spare Sonic's life. The developers could have easily forgotten about the cannon being damaged or didn't bother making a new model. And Sonic did earn Shadow's respect at the end, but I don't think it's enough for Shadow to spare him. The most we can do is guess and come up with head cannons. Doubt the developers chose a winner for any of the rival fights. These were just my thoughts, wanted to share.

Actually canonically Sonic won the second fight. This is evident in the Hero story. When Sonic was talking to Sonic and Tails after the Shadow fight, and Eggman sneaks off with the Chaos Emerald, setting up the final scene for the Dark story. In which shows exactly that after you "beat" Sonic as Shadow in the Dark story. It doesn't show anything involving Shadow after that, in which we can conclude that Sonic won. It makes sense. He is the main character of the game. It is called Sonic Adventure 2, and honestly Shadow's goal wasn't to beat Sonic anyway. He is not Vegeta (Despite him being compared to him a lot) he never cared about winning or proving he is superior. His goal was to have all 7 Chaos Emeralds enter the Ark so it can crash into the Earth, destroying it for the sake of revenge for Maria. He pretty much got that, until Amy came in the Last story to say things that brought back the memory of what Maria TRULY wanted. For him to save Earth and humanity.
