Every stage Sonic has in Adventure 1 is non-linear. I'm still finding new things out about Red Mountain and Speed Highway till this day!

@@Gameplayer-vm5ml adventure 1 had a great sense of exploration. kinda like a mario 64 vibe...but fast. that sense has been lost recently where every stage is literally linear with barely any branching paths or secrets to find. (forces)

Doing a restart there makes the timer stop and only restart when I get back my controls, so it saves around 0.8 seconds.

Those tricks are called booster glitch, which is kinda easy to pull off. There are 2 parts that I did low booster glitch, which is insanely hard to do even in a TAS.

The audio lag is a encoding problem, I can't fix it but I know people that can encode in Dolphin without those issues. I'm not redoing the Sonic's Story TAS for now, I will in some months and I'll be sure to don't get that one desynced :P

Myrmeko Me It means Tool Assisted Speedrun. The kind of tools are savestates, slowdowns (or frame advance) and RAM watching, provided by the emulator itself (in this case, Dolphin). For more info, visit TASVideos.org
