Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is a kart racing video game developed by Sumo Digital and published by Sega. It was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U in November 2012, for PlayStation Vita in December 2012, for Microsoft Windows in January 2013, for Nintendo 3DS in February 2013, and for iOS and Android in January 2014.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is the sequel to Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, the fourth installment in the Sega Superstars series, and the eighth racing game in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Gameplay is similar to the game's prequel, in which players choose different settings and characters before a race. The most noticeable addition to the game is the three different modes of racing: land, sea and air. Racers' cars can now change into a plane when in the air and into a boat when on water after passing through a Transformation Gate.

Yo literally I still got it on the Xbox 360 and I found a glitch i was playing rogue cup s class in rogues landing I was in 4th place and the finish line was right next to the first place AI and before he crossed the finish line I finished 10 sec before him and i thought it was either I hacked the game or I glitched the game and I think I glitched the game which is an awesome glitch

I still have my 3DS version of this game from when I was a kid. This game was so fucking fun, however it did get difficult near the end. Ages and the Race of Ages were no joke but I remember feeling satisfied when I finished this game’s story or world tour mode. I love how dynamic all the tracks were in this game, especially my favorite Graffiti City. Honestly I’d be dope if Sonic Racing games continued in this format or at least got remastered for newer consoles.

I always played as Tails for his balanced mechanics and incredible handling, but if I couldn't play him usually chose Metal Sonic, Danica Patrick or Sadow. It's just a shame they didn't include Jet in this game cause this would be right up that characters alley in my opinion.

If they don’t make another Transformed game, they should take another stab at a Mario Kart style game, but with either the hoverboards, or have [most of] the characters run on foot. Think that running mod for MK Wii but with the Sonic aesthetic.

I have the 3DS version of this game, and I honestly don't know why. I guess at the time I thought, "since I have Mariokart 7, why not get another racing game for this?" Unfortunately, the graphics are turned down a lot and sometimes you can clip through the floor and through certain walls, even the items you get don't always hit their target or go completely off the map. I understand why, and don't get me wrong I love this game. I have the original All-Stars for Xbox 360 (until we had to get rid of the console but I still have the game) it's still fun to play and I know all the secrets and shortcuts and maxed out all the characters. Besides the DLC ones, I don't know how to get those. I'm still looking for the console version because this just looks objectively better, but I really do love the Sonic racing series. Some of the music is pretty great too, really catchy!
