You know, this raises a very interesting question now, how *Would* Gerald Robotnik respond if he ever actually saw Sonic? How would he respond to seeing this new hedgehog, out of nowhere, who not only looks like Shadow but even has abilities similar to his? Because Sonic is literally everything Shadow is, only without the chaos and Doom powers. And Sonic was born long after Shadow was created too?

This makes no sense Sonic Generations was out before Sonic force and Sonic frontiers, plus Shadow was never in Sonic Frontiers so what gives?

Past and Future are points you can go to. Speed Highway up to Planet Wisp is the future for Classic Sonic. While every stage is the past for Modern Sonic. So for Shadow Forces and Frontiers are the future for Shadow while Space Colony Ark, Rail Canyon and Kingdom Valley are all the Past for Shadow.
