Sonic the Hedgehog is the protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series published by Sega, as well as numerous spin-off comics, animations, and other media. Sonic is a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds and curl into a ball, primarily to attack enemies. My boyfriend adores Ryan Drummond’s portrayal of Sonic, and has since he was a small child. Now my boyfriend does voices of his own, pursues voice acting as a career, and not a day goes by where he doesn’t thank Ryan for the everlasting impression he placed upon him at such a young age. It shaped him in so many ways, and I love him so much for it. Ryan is his Sonic, my Sonic, and forever will be in our hearts. We sincerely hope he’ll return one day to official games once more! 💙🦔

Haven't even gotten past the start of episode 7 before having to stop and say how awesome this has been to listen to. I'm ESPECIALLY jazzed to hear Shadow the Hedgehog make an appearance in the series, and with Jason Griffith voicing him no less! His interpretation is easily my favourite to begin with, but in general this is THE best depiction of Shadow I've heard in the last ten or so years. 17-18 if you're counting from Sonic '06 like I am. (Last proper appearance of Jason's version was Sonic and the Black Knight tho, if I recall correctly, so I know that wasn't the last game Jason voiced Shadow in, but still.) I'm frankly very grateful this exists. Awesome work by the whole cast and crew behind the radio play! 🖤

I especially loved Shadow’s section, Jason was a fantastic VA for him back in the day, so it’s awesome to hear the soft, deeper tone again. 😭 Also the fact those goons straight up endangered civilians, FIRED ON THEIR SUPERIOR, potentially stole the Jumpfox without the proper channels and told Shadow (said superior) to his face that they got fired from their last job is utterly astounding. If he doesn’t fire them and leave them stranded in jail, I’ll be shocked lol. It’s awesome to see Shadow so calm and confident, yet kind and supportive. I love it.

Sega should give it the animated treatment, because it'd be a lot better than the last effort in Rise of the Wisps which I thought was very underwhelming. Especially when you consider that Tails pretty much did nothing the whole two parts, but sit and play with his discount Wii U, as usual. Meanwhile the following day, episode 9 of the radio drama drops and we have the fox cub going Super, as he stands as equal by Sonic's side. That's what I expect from Tails, reminding everyone that he is the little fox cub who could.

I only learned about this series a few days ago, and I wish I’d heard about it sooner so it would’ve lasted longer. I absolutely loved this story, and the way the characters were written- the way they’re SUPPOSED to be written, after all the growth each has gone through. It was especially nostalgic hearing Jason and Pete reprise their roles, not to mention everyone else- Shadow and Silver just hold special places in my heart, and it was amazing hearing their original voice actors again, even if only for a brief period of time. Thank you all for giving me, and everyone else, such joy and nostalgia. And I’m guessing I should thank you for making this all possible, Emi, given that it’s posted on your channel and all, heh. I decided to finally finish watching this tonight, and I can safely say: the writing, the voice acting and care that all went into this project has made it my favorite fan-project from this fanbase. Emi, and to everyone that's worked on this project, thank you. It means a lot to see a project like this be done with so much passion. I loved hearing some familiar faces back in their current or previous roles and it just feels like this was some long lost storyline for a game that never came. And, just to cap this off, it's pretty coincidental that Sonic and Knuckles have a chat about the Emeralds' origin at the end, seeing what Frontiers' brought to the table. I grew up with these games, consuming almost all kinds of sonic content my poor dumb preteen to teenage self could get their hands on, but somewhere after sonic unleashed my passion for the series dwindled to near nothingness, and I bet people can take some pretty good guesses as to why. Imagine my surprise and elation when I found myself smiling from ear to ear and giggling like an idiot over this entire thing; from the voices to the script, to the story, to all the little continuity and references thrown in that only we who stuck with it all would understand -- I was reminded why I had a passion in the first place. Thank you Emi and team, no seriously thank you for shining a brief light of hope on a childhood love I thought I long since buried.

Was listening to this while cleaning up at work tonight and even better than I remembered. Even noticing a bunch of references I didn't notice the first time around. Think my favorite one of those was that Tails was listening to your own version of his theme on a radio in episode 10. Don't think I'd even heard the song before that so it didn't click, but it's a very nice detail!

I recently got back into Sonic games and I found S&TR through the blooper video you made, so I thought I would listen to the whole thing. This whole project is amazing, no other way of saying it. The voices are perfect, and the whole thing is just so immersive despite having no visuals. To top it off, Fly With Me is just... perfection, especially the acoustic version in the credits. I commend every single person who worked on this, you deserve more recognition for this! I enjoyed every second of it!

I love this series and that’s why it somewhat pisses me off. You see, looking at some of the original episodes, you can see that my little video on my little channel has more views than some of her episodes. I was actually shocked how low some of the numbers are for a production like this. This *isn’t* me bragging or anything, but this is me saying to help spread the word with other Sonic fans that you know because… well because her videos are just way better than ours. Just fact. And with all the work and time she put it to make it happen, the show deserves more. It deserves to be a piece of the community, ya know, like Sonic Paradox or Nazo Unleashed, Chistmas with Sonic; Stuff that millions of Sonic fans- almost universally known by the Sonic community. My love goes out to this series and everyone who took part in making something breathtakingly awesome.

I have to say, this mini series has really got me back into enjoying sonic the hedgehog and hearing the voices just works so well and so does the music on every level. One that rivals any sonic series that truly deserve more attention with its decent storytelling that is lacking in many mainstream series these days. I literally choked at Big's moment. It was so funny and unexpected. I love it. Everything about this is so cool! Take all the time you need but I would love to see this animated! I also just wanted to say how emotional I felt at the end credits. I was so happy hearing all the amazing voices for these characters' return and all the little calls to old lines. It felt like a dream come true for what Sonic CAN be watching this.

Honestly between Emi's beautiful covers of classic songs and this series I'm reminded why I'm a sonic fan. Even if the mainline series has made me extremely disappointed I will always love it. Hearing these voices from all the eras of sonic just makes me feel warm. I'll never forget the feeling of playing adventure 2 with my brother and sister or adventure 1 on my dream cast at grandmas. Or getting unleashed for my birthday 2008. Thank you everyone who worked on this series you are all wonderful and show why people should still love Sonic.

Emi Jones to me is like that one friend who comes to you when your feeling down especially during your hardest of times and reminds me of my friend Anika, and that fact she and the rest of this amazing cast was able to pull this off was just incredible.
