The only thing I wanted for a Sonic Battle remake was for the difficulty to be lowered. This game is so difficult that it becomes frustrating, and I had to use the infinite hp cheat to complete the game. It's not even challenging, it's just frustrating.

I'm sooo glad this version uses an electric guitar as the lead. It was so clear that was the intention in the GBA version, and listening to the Generations remake sounded like a lot of the tone and spirit of the song got lost in the mix. Great adaptation!

Oh yeah, last time SEGA acknowledged Sonic Battle was in Generations, but it was brought up in the most recent SXSW Q&A panel! I think a 3D Sonic beat-em-up brawler would be cool... as long as they don't do that crappy Werehog thing. Great work on the remix Lil B!

I loved this game as a kid and often look back at it wondering “why? That game wasn’t really all that great”. Then of course I remember it was specifically how addictively good the music was, and I’m glad there’s others like you that recognize and cherish this game’s overwhelmingly good OST. Ah, the game that was always a blast to play for me and all the friends I didn't have. I especially loved the way Emerl was a customizable character in the sense that absolutely every single move he could possibly have was changable, even moves that weren't attacks like idle poses and mid-air actions.

I... I think I would be willing to even pay a commission of some sort to get Tails' Lab, or an original Emerl theme based on the Custom Skill menu sections remixed by you. Thank you so much for this Emerald Beach remix. Sonic Battle is a game that forged a good chunk of my childhood and GBA days (next to Mario Tennis: Power Tour and Summon Night: Swordcraft Story), I love me some Emerl, and the game in general's pretty darn fun! Flawed, but fun. Do keep the Sonic Battle remixes coming, if you have any interest in that!
