this game is quite fun. it's a shame it got recalled in the US due to the fact that people got injured (most of which are of their own fault for not using the provided boxing gloves) which led to a recall in 1994.

Nope, all these where last second interceptions, thats what Sonic Blast Man specializes in, not having long enough to do anything but punch his way out of the situation, like all good heroes. He's actually an Alien which is discussed in the sequel to better effect.

This is one of the few games that would benefit from an anime or movie adaptation, given that Taito made this as less of a story-driven quarter-hungry arcade fighter and more of a punching bag game. I like how this game just had an innocent truck driver just driving along and some idiot woman loses her kid in front of the truck and here comes our hero punching the truck to save the baby. Then as the truck driver comes to and sees his truck tipped over, our hero is STILL punching his truck. What a bad day for trucking.

Sorry this is not considered a Perfect Run, because is running on an Emulator. And the player is not Punching any machine. Is just combining buttons to obtain 300T all the time. It is same as cheating... It is not personal, i just have a completely different point of view to define what is a perfect run. (any cheated game could be perfect)
